Introduction

With the UF Starfleet Reboot it became apparent we needed a new and better system for awards to reflect our new tritiered command structure. The first level for the UF Starfleet member is the Chapter level. These awards are the ones UF Starfleet Chapter Commanders and issue and be recognized and tracked by UF Starfleet but not the only issuable awards. Chapter Commanders are both allowed and encouraged to create their own system to reflect the activities, attitude and members of their chapter to create the best experience possible for the members of their chapter. Example if a chapter often plays STO together awards for achievements in STO would be a fantastic experience for their members. For all members that want to earn awards it must be stated that these awards are not for just doing your job, those awards are the Service Awards. The awards listed below are for excellence in the performance of your job, standing out above the rest, being an example for others to aspire to. To get awards communications is also imperative, you must be in contact with your Commanding Officer and ask how you are doing, where are you weak, where can you be better because this is where people need to work to earn awards.

• Chapter Exceptional Service Award – Awarded for Exceptional overall service to the chapter, not just in their assigned duties, this is the highest award offered to a chapter member.

• Bronze Star – Awarded for exceptional leadership in Chapter Activities.

• Chapter Creativity Award – Awards for showing exceptional creativity in service to the chapter.

• Department Distinction Award – Awarded for distinguished service to the chapter through a members department.

• Chapter Communications Award – Issued for service to the chapter in the field of communications. Publications, websites, or even interchapter.

• Chapter Scholastic Achievement Award – Awarded for Scholastic or Academic achievement outside of UFSA. (Graduating College, teaching people on the Chapter, ect)

• Science Achievement Award – Awarded for service to the chapter in the field of Science. Be it Roleplay, education, or creation

• Medical Achievement Award - Awarded for service to the chapter in the field of Medical. Be it Roleplay, education, or creation

• Security Achievement Award - Awarded for service to the chapter in the field of Security. Be it Roleplay, education, or creation

• Operations Achievement Award - Awarded for service to the chapter in the field of Operations. Be it Roleplay, education, or creation

• Engineering Achievement Award - Awarded for service to the chapter in the field of Engineering. Be it Roleplay, education, or creation

• Intelligence Achievement Award - Awarded for service to the chapter in the field of Intelligence. Be it Roleplay, education, or creation
