Our enlisted rank charts somehow got a little mangled.

• Lance Corporals are NCOs in the Marine Corps.
• There is no such thing as an E-0.
• Master Sergeant is E8, as well as First Sergeant. (Except in the Air Force where a First Sergeant can be E7-9.)
• There are too many Fleet lower enlisted ranks.
