Biography
Will Thrasher was born Ssaedeyiv Tr'Thraisihaer in 2376, aboard a transfer station near the Neutral Zone. His parents were a half Romulan, half human smuggler named D'Nis and a much younger half Romulan half human bar girl named K'Rylin.

Following the destruction of the Hobus Star and the planets Romulus and Remus, Ssaed and his mother were separated from his father and settled on Virinat. His mother was physically, emotionally, and intellectually abusive. When Will was was old enough, he left home to join the crew of maintenence workers as their fuel and lubricants supply specialist.

In 2401 Will was on a mission to take recycled fuel cells from Virinat to the Romulan Flotilla, an accident on board a Kestrel Runabout activated a dormant Borg medical arm and Will was assimilated. He left for the Collective and was given the designation 9 of 27.

In 2401, as 9 of 27 and now operating in the Delta Quadrant, a battle with the Undine left Scoutship 27 severely damaged and Will was the only survivor.

Free of the Collective, 9 of 27 began to reclaim his identity and eventually made his way to the Pinastri System by the year 2405.

The medical staff aboard SS Tranquility, mainly Dr. Sarah Shinobu, and later Dr. Rojan Strom, Dr. Kaori Julliesse, and Dr. Starr Jetaime, treated him, removed much of his Borg implants, and encouraged Ssaed, now choosing to use the Standard Federation Common approximation of Ssaedeyiv - William - to join Starfleet

Will joined UF Starfleet Intelligence as an Enlisted Member and later returned to the Academy to be commissioned as an Intelligene Officer. His surname, Tr'Thraisihaer slowly became Thrasher and the name stuck. His mentor, Lieutenant Commander Klawdija Shelman was the Division Head of Intelligence and appointed him as her deputy. Klawdija was injured in a shuttle accident and was for a time missing in action. Her shuttle wreckage was recovered and the medical officer on a civilian transport ship medically induced a coma to allow her to treat the injuries. Will assumed the role of Acting Division Head until Klawdija's return.

The Intelligence Division restructured and emerged from the Security Branch as a full branch of its own. Klawdija resigned in 2407 and Will assumed the role of Branch Commander.

Will served as Branch Commander until 2409, when he was asked to step down so the Branch could move in a different direction. Will took this opportunity to work on some projects with ASDB as Cascadia Shipyards until he Transferred to the Gamma Quadrant along with many younger officers as a backfill for SS Astraios. Given his experience with Intelligence, Will assumed the role of Intelligence Analyst on Astraios until the opportunity to command one of the ship designs he worked on at ASDB, the USS Prophetic, in 2411.

By 2412, the Prophetic was decommissioned and Will secured passage back to the Pinastri Colony where he resumed duties as the Branch Commander of Intelligence and Commanding Officer of SS Tranquility in 2413.

In 2414, Will resigned his commission and disembarked on a personal mission to the meet with the leaders of the Romulan Republic with their efforts to officially join the United Federation of Planets. Will never made it to Dewa III and disappeared.

Years later, in 2419, Will had been missing and presumed dead. A transporter malfunction had left him severely altered. His Romulan DNA had been filtered out and his Borg implants had been removed. He was left physically, totally human. Lost, like he no longer had an identity, Will became a for-hire small craft pilot. Will was eventually recognized by an aide of Fleet Admiral Mike Calhoun and when the two sat down for a pint, Mike told Will he could come home.

By the time Will wrapped up his affairs at the Colony and secured passage home, Fleet Admiral Calhoun had retired.

Will lived on the surface of Pinastri for nearly a year and decided that in order to reclaim his identity, he needed to have his ears surgically altered to appear as they did when he was still half Romulan. Though he did not elect to have his ridges restored, nor did he have his brows altered.

Feeling better about himself, Will returned to Starfleet Academy. He expected his Rank of Captain to be restored but was met with policy which did not allow for that.

In 2420, fully re-certified as an Intelligence Officer, Will Transferred to the station where his career began and ended, SS Tranquility - an Ensign on the very station he once commanded.
