Biography
Tai'Ra was born on Freecloud, the daughter of Lazok Torrek, an information broker and Nassaa Lutytr, a lodubyal owned by Torrek. At age five, Tai'Ra entered into training to become a lodubyal herself. At fourteen, as was custom, she began entertaining clients or her father. It didn't take long for her to learn the value of information, as well as to learn there was a world outside of Freecloud. Her mother encouraged her to chase her dreams. She began to keep bits of information she learned for herself, as well as small amounts of money to buy passage off of Freecloud. At twenty eight she had amassed enough to book passage on a small freighter that was bound for Earth. She had heard stories of the Federation and found herself fascinated by it. She arrived on Earth in 2418, where she requested asylum, as she was still considered to be property of her father on Freecloud. Two years later, after immersing herself in learning, she made the decision to join Starfleet Academy.
