Biography
Born & raised on Earth, her mind was always "out there, somewhere". Her Native American Algonguian grandfather called her his "daughter of the wind"; a soul who's spirit could not be captured or confined. He told her stories about her journeys to be; among the stars and heavens; that she would some day walk the paths of her elders resting places. Now, she has begun...to go where no-one has before her....by joining UFS, attending the Academy & hopefully contributing of her Earth knowledge and life experiences. From these stories, she decided that somehow, she was going into Space. She studied hard in Earth School and was one of many chosen to attend the United Federation Academy. Dreaming of one day being the Commander of a Starship of her own, she set her sights on this goal, never knowing or expecting the gifts of knowledge she could or WOULD gain from all the diverse cultures she would meet there. Suddenly, she found herself among the chosen few that are gifted enough to teach others about the Federation and offered a position there. Not knowing that the organizational skills life had taught her or that she had learned from school and friends and family on Earth, she found she had a knack for helping others learn, and decided perhaps this would be a good place to be. Henceforth, I have decided to change from Command of a Starship (which I've not given up on entirely, but for now) to learning to train others and share her gifts of knowledge with others making their first venture into space.
