| Ezra Vespri is a smart, charming, slightly shy young man Born on Earth. His life began with the whispered story of his birth-father’s death in the Dominiom War. Having no real memory of his birth-father he’d look back at the holo-images in secret under the cloak of night. His Betazoid mother re-married about 2.5 to 3 years after her late Human husband’s death. Verina met her current Vulcan husband, Suvok while she was out running errands. Suvok raised Ezra as his own teaching him the Vulcan ways of life, though they contradicted his mother’s Betazoid teachings. Always able to sense the slight displeasure from his step-father when he would let his emotions get the better of him. His step-father coming to what he thought to be the only logical conclusion, is that Ezra was a mix of two emotional gene pools and that he should still stand firm in his teachings but knowing mistakes would happen more often than not. Ezra being split between two worlds often tried his best to please his step-father, even though their relationship was never strained he would always have a slight anxiety that he’d sense Suvok’s feelings of awkwardness when he preformed in a way that didn’t align with the Vulcan way of life. Verina often reminded him that it was ok to express his emotions, and shared his opinions. She would encourage him to practice his empathic skills so that he may strengthen his ability, hoping that one day he may become Telepathic. This was often how they communicated. His mother knew how much he fought to live up to Suvok’s standards, but she also knew that Suvok loves Ezra and even though his mistakes would make him uncomfortable Suvok would stress the importance of trying again. Feeling slightly out of place Ezra decided that joining Star Fleet as a doctor was how he was going to find his own path, and hopefully a friend or two. | |||||
