Biography
Torias Kerev was born as Torias Perim on Trill Prime in 2393, and from an early age, he showed an insatiable curiosity and fascination with the cosmos. At 17, he enlisted in Starfleet Academy, driven by his dreams of exploring the stars and combining his mechanical aptitude with his passion for space exploration.

After four years of rigorous training and study, Torias graduated from Starfleet Academy in 2414 as an Ensign in the Engineering branch. He was then assigned to the USS Yorktown, a Echelon--class starship, where he began his journey as an Engineering Officer. Little did he know that his life was about to take a momentous turn.

In 2416, Torias was granted leave from his Starfleet duties to undergo the sacred Trill initiation process. This process would determine if he was suitable for joining with a symbiont, a rare and revered honor among the Trill people. After a series of rigorous evaluations, Torias was approved for symbiosis and merged his essence with the revered symbiont known as Kerev, forever becoming Torias Kerev.

As Torias Kerev, then a joined Trill, he carried with him the memories and wisdom of Kerev's past hosts. Among them were:

1. Leorin (2064-2142), a renowned Trill diplomat, left a profound impact on Kerev's understanding of diplomacy. His legacy of diplomatic finesse and conflict resolution enriched Kerev's abilities in navigating complex negotiations between rival factions, earning him a distinguished position in Trill society. This invaluable knowledge became a guiding light in fostering peace and understanding wherever he went. 2. Vayla (2142-2236), the brilliant scientist, imparted groundbreaking advancements in subspace technology and warp field dynamics to Kerev's collective knowledge. Her contributions significantly influenced the development of interstellar travel and communication, offering Kerev an enhanced understanding of the fabric of the universe. With Vayla's scientific expertise, Kerev found innovative ways to navigate through the vastness of space. 3. Kellan (2236-2314), the daring and resourceful Starfleet captain, instilled in Kerev the virtues of courage and strategic acumen in the face of adversity. Inspired by Kellan's thrilling adventures and exceptional leadership skills, Kerev sought to uphold the principles of exploration and protect the Federation's values. This courageous spirit guided him through challenging situations, earning him respect among his fellow Starfleet officers. 4. Renna (2314-2416), the gifted artist, expanded Kerev's perception of the cosmos with a contemplative and creative perspective. Through her art and keen observations, Renna deepened Kerev's appreciation for the beauty and mysteries of the universe. This artistic sensibility allowed Kerev to see the cosmos in all its wonders and intricacies, fueling his passion for exploration and discovery.

In 2417, Torias Kerev was assigned to the USS Cochrane, an Inquiry-class starship, where he seamlessly combined his engineering expertise with the enigmatic knowledge of the symbiont. His exceptional performance led to his promotion to the rank of Lieutenant and his appointment as the Assistant Chief Engineer on the Cochrane in 2418.

In 2422, Torias Kerev achieved the rank of Lieutenant Commander and received an extraordinary opportunity from Starfleet. He was offered the chance to serve in the Delta Quadrant, a region where Starfleet had established a base of operations nearly two decades prior. Eager to embrace the unknown and contribute to the further expansion of Starfleet's reach, Torias Kerev accepted the assignment. He was assigned as an Engineer to Pinastri Colony at the colony headquarters.

In 2423, Torias Kerev was promoted to Commander and transferred to the Command branch as a Command Officer at Pinastri Headquarters. Leading with exceptional skill and wisdom, he continues to serve in this esteemed role to this day, making a lasting impact on the officers and the community in the Delta Quadrant. His journey in the stars remains an ongoing adventure, shaping the course of Starfleet's presence in this enigmatic region.
