Biography
T'reng was an average Vulcan child. She has a strong fascination with space due to her parents being involved in the development of starships at the Vulcan Science Institute. She lost her mother, T’laa, when was 21 (8-years-old) in an wayward experiment on new warp drive technology. This led T’reng to turn away from the idea of space and exploring space for her prepubescent years and into her adolescence. However, in 2382 she partook in a study program on Earth and met a young man named, Eikichi, who had an unrestricted passion for everything space. Her friendship with Eikichi rekindled her interest in space once again.

T’reng originally began her studies at the Vulcan Science Institute studying exobiology. However, T’reng made the unexpected choice to pursue Eikichi as a mate. The pair married in 2386, much to Saallik’s dismay saying T’reng was far too young. They continued a long-distance relationship for many years while Eikichi eventually became a professor at a civilian university teaching about Vulcan Relations. After a decade of a long-distance relationship, T’reng made the decision to live on Earth after considering the fact she had many years to continue her studies and career while she only had a limited time with her mate. In 2398, the couple moved to San Francisco once she arrived on Earth. Eikichi tried to convince T’reng to join Starfleet for several years saying it was a ‘logical choice’ if she continued to stay on Earth. He didn’t want her to put her life on pause for him. Somewhat, unexpectedly in 2401, they had their first daughter, Kirie. This surprise delayed T’reng conflicted decision on joining Starfleet being torn between knowing Eikichi was correct in his thinking and potentially closing the book on her career on Vulcan for good. Once again, the couple had another unplanned pregnancy in 2421 where this time they had twins, Kadae and Kenzou. Despite the recent birth of her twins, T’reng accepted the fact that she had built a life on Earth and decided to apply to Starfleet with her husband’s support.
