United Federation Starfleet Mission Report USS Protector Stardate: 130908

Current Location: Orbit of class M Planet

Commanding Officer's Log, Stardate 130908,

The Protector has stayed in orbit, waiting for the natives to leave the surroundings of the wreck of the future Protector. When they left, we beamed on the site and started to continue our investigation. We detected a faint EMP signature not far from the wreck and I decided to follow it. We discovered that it was actually Commander Zeppitay from the future. As she was busy in the wreck, I asked Ensign Eiyo to help me translate what she was saying, as her translator was broken. But Commander Zeppitay, curious about what we were doing, arrived and much to our surprise, managed to heal her future self. She also spoke about what happened to the ship and came up with a solution. The ship had actually crashed because of an entity called the chronowisps. We've beamed back to the Protector and configured the shields to block them, we also placed ourselves far out in the system to prevent falling into the atmosphere of the planet.
