Description

The Personnel Security Manager is responsible for ensuring that all members in the assigned area of operations possess the correct security clearance for access to classified information.

Tasks

• Manages the security clearance investigations for all personnel in the sector, through the personnel security officers or chief intelligence officers stationed in each starship, stations, or facility int the sector.
• Manages access levels in the station and assists the Counter-Intelligence Specialist in enforcing UFS Intelligence Counter-Intelligence and Personnel Security policies as well as the station’s internal counter-intelligence policies.
• Serves as the Station’s resident Liason with Counter-Intelligence and assists in preventing the discovery of all classified and sensitive information on the station and through station personnel.
  • UFS Academy Only: Manages the Cadet and Academy Security Clearance rosters and procedures.
  • UFS Academy Only: Conducts group and individual interviews with all cadets, assessing their suitability for safeguarding classified and sensitive data before graduation or assignment to key positions within United Federation Starfleet.
