Chateau Picard was an estate red wine produced at the Picard vineyards in La Barre, France. The head vigneron or winegrower during the mid-24th century was Robert Picard.

Considered a fine wine throughout the Federation and more so in the Delta Quadrant where it's very rare. The year 2267 is considered to be an excellent year.

Commander Valerius Swansong keeps a few bottles, one of which, vintage 2267, he gave to Commander Thallanor Rasmuson and the crew of SS Athena to celebrate their victory over the USS Menelaus during a Gambits War Game exercise in 2386
