| Cho.Ka was born and raised on Mars by his Human Father and Klingon Mother. Being half Klingon he was continually 'tested' by his peers on his strength and fighting abilities. And although is father did not like him fighting, it was his mother that punished him if he lost, and rewarded him for his victories. Even with his father's calming influence his Klingon nature usually won out. His temper and the fact that he was never let be, landed him behind bars more times than his father cares to admit. For his 16th birthday his mother took him to Quo'nos to finish his education in Klingon schools. It was here that his fighting skill were honed and well practiced. Being half human the Klingon teenagers tested him as much if not more than the children on Mars. However, his fights on Quo'nos got him more positive attention than on Mars.He returned to Mars when he was 20 and applied to Starfleet Academy, like his father wanted him to, but he failed to get in due to violently disagreeing with one of the testers. After his failure to get into Starfleet he began to get in with the seedier elements on Mars. It was after multiple arrests that a judge used an old earth judgment practice. He gave Cho.Ka two choices, he could either spend the next 8 years in a rehab colony or he could sign up for four years with Starfleet Marines.Not wanting really to be in with the seedier crowd anyway, but seemed to only fit in there. He took the opportunity to join the Corps and ran with it. Since his father was a charter shuttle pilot, Cho.Ka learned how to fly at a young age. With his skills as a pilot the MAB was an obvious choice. | |||||
